Pastor and Chaplain
Bishop E. George Beason is an anointed man of God. He is a Pastor, Singer, Song Writer and Mentor. He is called to preach the word of God, operating daily in a divine anointing to pastor a new generation of souls, many thought were lost for eternally. His ministry of God's word embraces a strong prophetic flow with evidence of healing and deliverance of many in his meetings. He pastored churches in High Wycombe, Nottingham, Leicester and Gloucester (serving as District Overseer in his last three pastorate.
He is a visionary who is committed to helping others to prosper in the natural as well as in the spiritual realm.
He has influenced missionaries and pastors as well as scientists. Two of West Africa’s most influential missionaries, Professor Clifton Clarke and wife Dr. Marcia Clarke, have emerged from under his ministry. His ministry and church have produced a number of pastors of churches. He presided over a large addition and extension of their church sanctuary with facilities that now offers training, business enterprise opportunities (used by touring productions), a gym, and offers a host of community events, all of which are much needed in a thriving ‘inner city’ environment.
Bishop Beason has served as a prison chaplain for nearly twenty years and has influenced many lives both in the UK and foreign nationals. He has raised the cross of Calvary as a blockade before men and women, preventing them a path to destruction as he led them to Christ and the road of peace and love. He for many years conducted regular bible study in a security prison attended by prisoners of different nationalities and background.
His style of teaching brings the bible to life. The inmates no longer just see it as a book but the map of life, their desperation to learn more about the word led them to take the bibles out of the chapel so they could study further.
He said that in 1987 the Lord spoke these words to him as he was getting ready one morning for his regular day of prison ministry; “Son, I have many future pastors, evangelists, youth directors, good husbands and good fathers in that prison”. Ever since, Bishop Beason has continually stated;
‘He is blessed to be a vessel that will impact the future of inmates that God is calling and preparing for the frontline and a challenging future.’
Bishop Beason is not only a pastor, but also a dynamic international evangelist, ministering in Europe, Africa, Canada, the Caribbean, the USA, even up to the cold fronts of the Indian Reservations North of Quebec, Canada. He travels extensively, proclaiming Christ gospel to thousands. He delivers God’s messages with wisdom, simplicity and complete applicability.
His sincerity and passion for God ignites a fresh fire in those who are saved, which produces a renewal of child-like faith and an immediate obedience to the Father, demonstrating itself in them committing their lives to Jesus. As a result, this phenomenal Man of God touches the hearts of the young and the old, and he transcends all racial and cultural boundaries with The Truth.
Bishop Beason spent three years studying Theology at the European Bible College in West Germany receiving a Diploma in Theology and a Certificate in Youth Work in 1977. During those three years he worked with churches of diverse backgrounds, such as the American Servicemen Centres, many German churches and a Spanish Church working with their young people. During his last year in Germany, he served as an Assistant Chaplin in Gurpinhem to US servicemen. In 1995, he acquired a Masters of Arts degree (MA) at the University of Derby in the UK, completing a thesis on “The Family in a Pluralistic Society”.
He taught Homiletics and Evangelism at the Ebenezer Bible College in London and for three consecutive years was responsible, along with an American colleague, to develop and deliver the New Testament Module for the CONTRAST Course at the University of Nottingham Adult Centre. He also taught Information Technology at two different colleges of Further Education in the city.
